From a wreath Buff and Azure, a dromedary statant haltered, collared and bearing supplies Proper, pendant therefrom a Moorish shield bendwise sinister blazoned: Per chevron Azure and Buff, all environed by a wreath of two palm trees Proper.

Shield
Buff is used with blue for the Quartermaster Corps. The two grape leaves refer to the areas where the unit served in World War IIthe Rhineland and Northern France. The dancette partition line represents the mountainous terrain of Korea where the organization served during that War. The peaks are three in number in reference to the Battalion's three unit awards for action in Korea.
Crest
The dromedary symbolizes desert resupply and support to the front line troops. The cargo and shield on the camel reflect the unit's former designations as a Quartermaster Battalion and as a Supply and Service Battalion. The palm trees denote the unit's participation in Southwest Asia Desert Shield/Desert Storm campaigns.
The coat of arms was originally approved for the 13th Quartermaster Battalion on 12 July 1963. It was redesignated for the 13th Supply and Service Battalion on 9 August 1966. The insignia was redesignated for the 13th Support Battalion with the blazon and symbolism revised effective 16 October 1992. It was amended to add a crest on 13 May 1999.
